"Kristallnacht and Beyond"

This was a 50 minute video documentary depicting the life of Holocaust Survivor Alexander Lebenstein. Mr. Lebenstein had spent many years speaking to students in the United States and his hometown in Germany about the dangers of intolerance, racism, and bullying. The video ends with at a ceremony to rename a middle school in Haltern am See, Mr. Lebenstein’s hometown; the Alexander Lebenstein Middle School; School against Racism, School with Courage. This video was shown on PBS Charlottesville, Va and Richmond, VA April 2010. It is also used as an educational tool in the museum’s TEI Classroom. My role on this project includes: Producer/Director, Videographer, Editor, Colorist.
